Bio

My ultimate life goals are to become a successful orthopedic surgeon and run a profitable part-time business. At the same time, I want to pursue my passions for sports and the arts. I am highly motivated to gain knowledge in these areas, and I believe that my diverse interests and skills will help me achieve my objectives. In my spare time, I enjoy engaging in various extracurricular activities that challenge me both physically and mentally. These activities include motorcycling, bodybuilding, water-skiing, snow skiing, skeet and trap shooting, charreria, 3 gun, skydiving, paragliding, fishing, off-road racing, hunting, guitars, and softball. By doing so, I stay active and explore different aspects of my personality and abilities. As a candidate for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, I am proud to have achieved a 4.5 GPA on a scale of 4, which reflects my dedication to academic excellence. However, my strengths extend beyond the classroom, and I am also a disciplined and focused athlete who knows how to manage my time effectively and set and achieve my goals. In addition to pursuing my academic and athletic interests, I am also actively learning basic business skills to open a business with my brother. I view entrepreneurship as a valuable way to build wealth and achieve financial independence, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make this dream a reality. Although financial resources can sometimes be a challenge, I believe that dedication, hard work, and persistence can overcome these obstacles.

My name is Alejandro Almada, and I am a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the world around me. As someone who has experienced financial hardship and has a diverse range of interests and skills, I believe that I have a unique perspective that can contribute to my community and beyond. Volunteering has been a crucial part of my life for many years, and it has helped me to develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Through volunteering at a hospital in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, I have gained unique insights into the healthcare industry and the challenges that medical professionals and patients face. As someone who hopes to pursue a career in medicine, this experience has been invaluable, and I am determined to continue to use my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in this field. However, I recognize that finances will be a major consideration in my decision-making process as I look ahead to college. Coming from a low-income family, the cost of pursuing a degree in medicine can be daunting. That's why I am actively researching scholarships and financial aid opportunities that can help me achieve my dreams without incurring excessive debt. This scholarship will provide me with the support and resources that I need to pursue my educational goals and contribute to my community in meaningful ways. In addition to my academic pursuits, I also have a diverse set of interests and skills that make me a unique individual. From professional shooting to bodybuilding to playing guitar, I have developed expertise in different fields and have a passion for using these skills to make a positive impact. I am disciplined, manage my time effectively, and have a strong work ethic, all of which are valuable skills that I can apply to any area of my life. As someone who is committed to giving back to my community, I plan to use my skills and interests to make a positive impact. For example, I want to use my shooting skills to participate in community events that promote gun safety or help teach others how to shoot responsibly. Additionally, I plan to use my knowledge of bodybuilding to help promote healthy lifestyles and fitness in my community. I also want to organize a local fitness event or fundraiser for a charity that I am passionate about. Music is another area where I plan to give back. I will perform at community events, teach music lessons to children, or even organize a benefit concert for a local charity. Additionally, my experience volunteering in hospitals and sanitation services has inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare or public health, where I can make a difference in the lives of others. Aside from using my skills and interests to give back, I also plan to seek out opportunities to volunteer with organizations that align with my values and interests. For instance, I could volunteer at a local animal shelter or participate in a community cleanup project. I also want to get involved with advocacy groups that are working to address important social and environmental issues. In conclusion, I am a unique individual who is committed to making a positive impact in my community and beyond. Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference, I know that I can achieve my goals and contribute to the world in meaningful ways. This scholarship will provide me with the resources and support that I need to pursue my educational goals and continue to give back to my community.

As a high school student, I've often found myself struggling to balance my academic responsibilities with my extracurricular activities and personal commitments. This is a problem that many of my peers face, and it can be particularly challenging for those of us who come from low-income families and have limited resources available to us. To solve this problem, I've created a detailed plan for a digital organization and productivity tool that would help students manage their time more effectively and prioritize their tasks based on their individual needs and preferences. The tool, which I've tentatively named "Student Planner Pro", would be designed as a web and mobile application that would integrate seamlessly with students' existing calendars and scheduling tools. Here's how it would work: User registration: Students would create a profile on the Student Planner Pro platform, which would require basic information such as their name, email address, and school. Task management: Once registered, students would be able to create and manage their tasks, assignments, and other obligations. They could input due dates, set reminders, and categorize their tasks based on subject, priority level, or other relevant factors. Scheduling: The app would also include a scheduling tool that would allow students to create daily or weekly schedules based on their available time and priorities. The scheduling tool would take into account their existing commitments, such as class schedules, extracurricular activities, and work or family obligations, and suggest optimal times for completing their tasks. Collaboration: Students would also be able to collaborate with their classmates and teachers by sharing their schedules and assignments through the app. This would help to facilitate group projects and other collaborative work. Customization: The app would be highly customizable, allowing students to personalize their user interface, choose their preferred color schemes, and adjust the app's settings to match their individual needs and preferences. To bring this idea to life, I would need a team of developers, designers, and project managers who could help me build and launch the app. I would also need funding to cover the costs of development, marketing, and ongoing maintenance and updates. In terms of marketing, I would target high school students and their parents through social media advertising, email marketing campaigns, and partnerships with schools and educational organizations. I would also leverage existing student networks and word-of-mouth referrals to grow the user base and increase brand awareness. Overall, I believe that Student Planner Pro has the potential to solve a real problem for students like myself who struggle with time management and organization. With the right resources and support, I'm confident that we could create a tool that would not only be useful but also enjoyable to use, making a positive impact on the lives of students across the country.

Volunteering has been an important part of my life for many years, and it has changed my mindset in a number of ways. In particular, my experience volunteering at a hospital in Tepic, Nayarit Mexico has provided me with unique insights into the healthcare industry and the challenges that medical professionals and patients face on a daily basis. As someone who hopes to pursue a career in medicine, this experience has been invaluable. I've been able to observe surgeries, shadow doctors and nurses, and interact with patients from all walks of life. This has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of compassionate care and the critical role that healthcare professionals play in the lives of their patients. Of course, volunteering has not been without its challenges. For one, I've had to balance my volunteer work with my academic responsibilities, which has required careful time management and prioritization. Additionally, as someone who comes from a low-income family, I've had to be resourceful in finding opportunities to volunteer and make the most of the limited resources available to me. Despite these challenges, I've continued to pursue my passion for volunteering because of the profound impact it has had on my life. Not only has it given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment, but it has also allowed me to develop important skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Looking ahead to college, I recognize that finances will be a major consideration in my decision-making process. My family's financial situation has always been a challenge, and the cost of pursuing a degree in medicine can be daunting. However, I'm determined to pursue my goals and overcome these obstacles. That's why I'm actively researching scholarships and financial aid opportunities that can help me achieve my dreams without incurring excessive debt. In addition to financial considerations, I'm also looking for a college that offers robust academic and social opportunities. For me, it's important to find a school that not only has a strong pre-med program, but also offers extracurricular activities and a supportive community that will allow me to grow as a person. Overall, I'm excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and grateful for the experiences that have brought me to where I am today. Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference, I know that I can achieve my goals and make a positive impact on the world around me.

Extracurriculars and knowledge feed me as a whole. I study and understand particular areas outside academic responsibilities to maintain my mental health. One example is that I am currently investing in stocks and ETFs. To maintain my physical and nutritional health I practice many extracurriculars to maintain my mind and body occupied to get a good habit. Some sports I practice are motorcycles which my family and I have traveled all around Mexico and many US states, one emblematic trip we made was a 15-day trip in which we traveled from Zacatecas MX to La Paz, and we went up to Mexicali BC. Aquatic skiing which I have been practicing from freshman to senior as well as snow skiing. the shotgun professional shooting which I have been practicing since elementary when I was 7 years old, I have many awards of 1st 2nd, and 3rd place. Charreria which is a very specific regional Mexican sport that we used to practice when we lived in Zacatecas Mexico, my brother and I have won 1st and 2nd place. 3-gun which is part of the skeet and trap club and is a pistol, shotgun, and rifle in a strategic circuit in which you have to shoot unpredictable targets. Sky diving which I practice and is honestly one of my favorite sports. One of my most emblematic awards is body-building competitions that I have won many 1st places, 2nd places, and 3rd places; this is one of the most important awards and accomplishments because I used to weigh 214 pounds as a 15-year-old, kid, which I later decided I wanted to get in shape, I started working out in a very intense and disciplined way and as of now I have many awards of bodybuilding and I currently weight 160 pounds with 2% body fat. And the list goes on for a couple of more sports and arts that contribute to my mental, physical, and nutritional health. In conclusion, I try to be a complete person meaning I try to have a sport, an art, be social, have some type of contact with nature, and balance my life with academics and activities to maintain myself healthy in all aspects. I try to get the most out of myself because I believe acquiring knowledge in this phase of my life is the perfect phase as the human body receives the information in a different way as it molds adolescents and is basically the only source of information they have so they have to learn it yes or yes. I believe we tend to minimize our possible accomplishments, so I try to believe in myself take risks, and get the most out of life.
