My name is Alejandra “Ale” Randol, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about supporting children and families impacted by trauma and adversity. My own experiences with childhood trauma ultimately inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to helping children feel safe, heard, and understood. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton in 2014 and my Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino in 2019. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2025 and currently work in a county-funded outpatient mental health clinic serving diverse youth and families, including those impacted by trauma, foster care, and other systems. Through my clinical work, I have witnessed the powerful ways children use art and creativity to communicate when words feel difficult or unsafe. These experiences have inspired me to reconnect with my own creativity and explore how art can be incorporated into therapeutic work. I am currently completing my art prerequisites at Santa Ana College with the goal of applying to an Art Trauma Therapy Certificate Program. Through this training, I hope to develop additional skills and learn creative, trauma-informed approaches that I can incorporate into my work to better support the youth and families I serve in the outpatient mental health setting.
