Bio

Hi, it’s Albert Xavier I've recently moved to Nashville, TN. I want to establish my company Wolverine Venture Capital LLC here, founded this company in 2021 in Indiana through the SBA office of Evansville, IN. My website will be booming in the coming years. The next step is to scale the business from Virtual to Physical Products. A little bit about me, I am a 33-year-old male born on the beautiful Island of Saint Croix, U.S.V.I. I've resided in America since I was 19 years old until now. I was determined to prove to others there is hope; paving the way to new possibilities despite health issues. Currently, I am a Workforce employee enjoying the perks of 1099, W2 daily pay 60% reward program, and I am also a security guard for Best across the Nashville area which also provides daily pay. These measures should be worldwide, but this is a little new and should be nationwide in coming years as more business joins the workforce bandwagon through the Instawork application. I have strived to overcome depression, anxiety, and PTSD which is still hard but this education journey shouldn't stand in your way. Next up 2028 PhD graduation. Also, I thought you'd find this useful for your staffing needs - Instawork has 6 Million+ qualified and vetted workers ready to work on demand. As an Instawork Pro myself, I'm sending you $200 of Instawork credits to get started. Sign up using my referral link: https://tinyurl.com/22jar353

I'm a resilient individual born in Saint Croix in the United States Virgin Islands. Growing up in a community that faced economic challenges, I've always had a passion for learning and a dream of pursuing higher education. However, his journey was far from easy. Facing Adversity One significant adversity I faced was during his undergraduate studies. My family struggled financially, and there were times when I had to choose between buying textbooks and paying for necessities. Additionally, the limited resources and opportunities available on the island made it difficult for my family to access the same level of academic support system from my parents and networking opportunities as my peers on the mainland. Overcoming Adversity My determination and resourcefulness played a crucial role in overcoming these challenges. I've worked multiple part-time jobs to support myself and sought scholarships, loans, and grants to fund my education. I've also made use of online resources and connected with mentors who could guide me through my academic journey. However, my perseverance paid off when I graduated with a 3.0 GPA and was accepted into a PhD program from the same school code as my Master's program. Shaping His Life The adversity I've faced shaped my life in profound ways. It instilled in me a deep sense of resilience and a commitment to giving back to my community. I've become an advocate for educational equity, working to create more opportunities for students from underrepresented backgrounds. My experiences also taught me the importance of community support and the power of mentorship. Advice for Others Albert's advice to someone facing similar circumstances while pursuing a PhD is: 1. **Stay Determined**: Keep your goals in sight and remind yourself why you started this journey. 2. **Seek Support**: Don't hesitate to reach out for help, whether it's financial aid, academic support, or emotional encouragement. 3. **Be Resourceful**: Utilize all available resources, including online courses, libraries, and community programs. 4. **Build a Network**: Connect with mentors, peers, and professionals who can offer guidance and support. 5. **Give Back**: Use your experiences to help others who may be facing similar challenges. My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the impact of overcoming adversity. My journey from Saint Croix to achieving my Master's Degree in 2024 and seeking funding to pursue my PhD should serve as an inspiration to many. Let's take this essay and help others push through the noise.
    Cat Zingano Overcoming Loss Scholarship
Hello world, just want to appreciate Cat Zingano for this scholarship opportunity and a chance to speak about my losses in life. I grew up in the U.S. Virgin Islands from 1991 to 2010. My life began as the fourth child in my immediate household until my youngest sister came into the picture. It was right around her birth that my life changed. I witness my mom and dad go through a divorce after he physically slapped my mom in front of me at eight years old. My grandmother called the cops and my dad was escorted to the jail, before he was escorted he had an altercation with the cops and physically manhandled five cops before being subdued. It was all too real but hey it was my dad who I thought was my protector being taken away. My mom wasn't that innocent in this situation as my dad's frustration came from the fact that my youngest sister wasn't his child. She knew she messed up, but my dad wasn't innocent himself to cause a beautiful lady like my mom to venture off. He was at the time very abusive, as she claimed he was on drugs. He also made another baby with another woman which affected my mom's trust. She only did what, most would do to get even. But the baby took matters to a new frontier. Anyhow, I accepted the facts and loved my sister regardless. Ok, My grandmother and my grandfather live right next door to my moms' house. Here, is where the loss took place. My grandparents were the breadwinner, they were the ones who built the house we lived in. My grandfather's health took a turn for the worst after he had a stroke after one of my uncles got viagra for his dad, so he could continue pleasing his wife, my grandmother. In hindsight, he needed to just get a penicillin shot for his prostatitis, but he didn't trust doctors. He continued to proceed to want to stay at home and receive care from his family. Which turned out to be me, and my mom's kids but mostly me at the time. Fortunately, my grandfather was my biggest hero. Why? His medical condition made all his kids and grandkids re-evaluate screening for prostate issues. I was treated at 17 for prostatitis. So, there's a silver lining in this story. But, I did lose my grandfather to cancer as his prostate issues spread throughout his bones and his bones were like rose thorns. As a result, his body gave up on the pain and he lost his memories due to a process in the brain when too much pain is apparent. He did leave me with a gift, in his loss of memories. He told me: "son, I don't know who you are but I know a thousand angels are watching over you." He may not have known how to read due to, being raised in slavery and dropping out of 2nd grade but he never missed church. So, much so the church kept coming to see him until he wasn't with us. Levi Smith, you will always be my hero! Wasn't too long after his death I moved to America upon completing high school in 2010. My family just wasn't the same without my grandfather. Two years whilst living in America I lost my grandmother, I missed her funeral as I was in job corps in Kentucky at the time and was unable to attend. With all the losses, I've not returned to the Virgin island since. My fight to achieve greatness comes from the fact that in my blood was greatness. I've learned to study from my mom whose military background molded me to be an independent thinker; Plus I have watched my mom obtain a bachelor's degree in Accounting whilst raising 5 kids on her own. So, no matter what life throws at me including my current health condition listed in the Blue Book Listing of Impairment under (14.00) Immune System Disorders. I still believe it's never too late to change the world. I'm in the process of getting a attorney to fight for my rights for social security benefits.
    Martha Mitchell Truth Scholarship
Martha Mitchell Truth Scholarship Albert J. Xavier Jr. School of Business, National University MBA-5102 v5: Changing Times - Business in the 21st Century (0840471885) March 1, 2023 Why are you passionate about the US Constitution? Legislative Entrepreneurship in the U.S. House of Representatives I would like to be a house representative, did you know when members are elected to the House of Representatives they have a certain freedom to decide how they will act as members and how they will build their reputations? Just as in the marketplace where entrepreneurs build businesses, so did places where the House of Representatives members dwell who have the freedom to choose to build legislative programs that will enhance their reputations in the institution. And yet entrepreneurship is also costly to members. Gregory Wawro explains why members of the House engage in legislative entrepreneurship by examining what motivates them to acquire policy knowledge, draft legislation, build coalitions, and push their legislation in the House. He considers what incentives members have to perform (what many have perceived to be the difficult and unrewarding tasks of legislating). This essay shows how becoming a legislative entrepreneur relates to members' goals: reelection, enacting good public policy, and obtaining influence in the House. The analysis differs from previous studies of this behavior, which for the most part have employed case study methods and have relied on anecdotal evidence to support their arguments. Wawro analyzes legislative entrepreneurship in a general and systematic fashion, developing hypotheses from rational-choice-based theories and testing these hypotheses using quantitative methods. Wawro argues that members engage in legislative entrepreneurship in order to get ahead within the House. He finds that the more legislative entrepreneurship that members engage in, the more likely it is that they will advance to prestigious positions. This essay's message is of interest to: students of Congress, legislative behavior and institutions, elections, and campaign finance (WAWRO, 2001). How do you plan to continue to fight for civil rights throughout your career? The Ambassadors Initiative for Development and Empowerment, a civil society organization (CSO), says it is running an entrepreneurial training program to fight poverty and youth unemployment in the countryside of Africa. The organization's Program Officer, Mr. Yusuf Goje said in Abuja the program was to empower a lot of young people. He said such needed empowerment would help them to engage in entrepreneurship initiatives. "Basically, as an organization, or small business, we have a central understanding which is a vocational and technological institute and through this entity, we give women and youths scholarships to acquire various skills. We will also be running a program called 'Global Partnership for Poverty Reduction in Nigeria' because we believe that the fight against poverty and unemployment cannot be left in the hands of the government alone. Civil society groups and the private sector must come in to help in addressing the problem," Goje said. Goje urged the three tiers of government to involve Nigerian youths in the process of policy formulation and implementation "One of the major issues is that youths have been marginalized in terms of policy formulation and implementation. The youths are always used as instruments to achieve ulterior motives and not for their own interest (Media, 2014)." Reference: Media, A. G. (2014, May 30). Christina Taylese Singh Memorial Scholarship By: Albert J. Xavier Jr. School of Business, National University Current Course: MBA-5102 v5: Changing Times - Business in the 21st Century (0840471885) February 28, 2023 This is dedicated to Christina Taylese Singh in loving memories of you darling, Greetings, "cheers" by the way my name is Albert J. Xavier Jr. I am currently 31 years of age, now!" I have flown from my homeland near the equator to the mainland Central United States and this move proved to be right on the money mostly on an educational journey: about going to college. Yup, born straight out of the U.S. Virgin Islands of Saint Croix. The pearl of the Caribbean is a beacon of hope when hope feels lost; there is always Soca Music to cleanse your sorrows and move your soul. I am a proud Cruzan nonetheless who has dedicated my life to the studies of entrepreneurship; currently, I am in the progress of obtaining my Master of Science in Business Administration. But then I am fixing to pursue my doctorate shortly thereafter with the help of this scholarship I will be one step closer. Amen! To potentially be able to hire professionals in the field of healthcare or other employment opportunities. Aside from my Academic achievements, I am a Social Media Content Creator and I just got accepted into Appen as a Social Media Evaluator recently. It is a lot to put on a CEO's shoulders, but at thirty-one, I will have to be the budget king and build a business model to withstand to test of time. Oh, I also sing, write songs, love playing an author, and would love to make a living helping others learn how to start a small business. There is plenty of room for small healthcare businesses, waiting for someone like me who is willing and readily eager to help any individual learn how to open their first business name and establish a website. Currently, I am learning new business models of which to manage said businesses beyond the basics which I have come to know. All I know is there is much to know and lots of data to comprehend. Technology the power of Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries: Role of Telepresence Robots in Healthcare Developing countries as well as individuals like myself represent about three-quarters of the world's population and have become the main driver for the global population and economic growth. Technology entrepreneurship plays is an important role in the sustainable development of vulnerable social groups and elements. These efforts can channel technological benefits to underdeveloped regions of the world. We discuss technology entrepreneurship in developing countries, with a focus on mobile health (mHealth) and telepresence robots. Specifically, we discuss how mHealth can help aged and disadvantaged developing country populations cope with normal life difficulties and challenges-but also in the extreme case and threat of a pandemic. Using past practices and lessons in telepresence robots, we propose FLEXTRA, a flexible robot mechanism to support instant video calls, smart medicine dispensation, and remote control. We also illustrate the applications of FLEXTRA in healthcare, e.g., fighting against COVID-19 (WANG, PAN, & RAY, 2021). Reference: WANG, M., PAN, C., & RAY, P. K. (2021). Charles Cheesman's Student Debt Reduction Scholarship
Charles Cheeseman’s Student Debt Reduction Scholarship By: Albert J. Xavier Jr. School of Business, National University Current Course: MBA-5102 v5: Changing Times - Business in the 21st Century (0840471885) February 28, 2023 “Hi, my Albert J. Xavier Jr. I’m currently 31, and yes it took me long enough to get here.” My flight from my homeland to the mainland took me a 6-hour flight to Florida way back in 2010 when I arrived here which proved to be right on the money. Yup, born straight out of the U.S. Virgin Islands of Saint Croix, Awo! The twin city pearl of the Caribbean is a beacon of hope, when hope feels lost "there is always Soca Music to cleanse your sorrows and move your soul." Yes, I am related to Tim Duncan somehow, but we don’t have this kindle-ship to have financial support among each other things (I know right, would be nice) such is life. I’m still a proud Cruzan nonetheless who has dedicated my life to the studies of entrepreneurship; currently, I’m in the progress of obtaining my Master of Science in Business Administration. But then I’m fixing to pursue my doctorate degree shortly thereafter with the help of this scholarship I will be one step closer to my dreams. Amen! Aside from my Academic achievements, I’m a Social Media Content Creator and I just got accepted into Appen as a Social Media Evaluator recently. It’s a lot to put on a CEO's shoulders, but at 31 I’ll have to be the budget king for the next generation and build a business model to withstand to test of time. Oh, I also sing, write songs, love playing an author, and would love to make a living helping others learn how to start a small business. Having lived my childhood in the U.S. Virgin Islands as a colored individual has been a blessing, my experience as an adult in America came at a financial burden as I was pretty much without a home, land, or financial credit for the last decade. Well maybe this setback, taught me money doesn't buy happiness. But helping me pay off my student loans, wouldn't have been possible for one (1) if I didn't go to college for two (2) had I known about Bold.org existed back when I was in high school. Whichever way you want to flip, twist, and turn it here I am. Melanated and proud to be a beacon of hope, a light in the dark!
    Augustus L. Harper Scholarship
Scholarship Aimed to Honor the Life of Augustus L. Harper by Supporting Students Majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Author: Albert Xavier Jr. School of Business, National University A.Xavier8305@o365.ncu.edu February 20th, 2023   Why Do You Think Education Is Important? In honor of the late Augustus L. Harper, for the record. I’m pursuing my graduate degree in business to outline my business plans, which will be showcased to the bank the day I get to that point. Education is always important because it gives you yearly access to your school library, boardroom, and faculty members. Furthering my education could be the nudge into becoming a college teacher, in a college setting helping others earn their scholarships. Whilst striving to obtain my doctorate and completing a Dissertation. Today’s trends on the other hand are very much significant among global and small main business street businesses. Trends can lead to understanding the upcoming business forecasting and preparing for adjustments to remain competitive and flexible (Manciu & Demyen, 2019). Therefore, it is essential to understand when a business is encountering a trend versus a fad. This understanding of a trend versus a fad. This understanding requires observations, which may come in the form of the following: • Surveys • Tracking website traffic (Ojala, 2019) • Observing sales of certain products • Reliable data to make decisions for the company is of utmost importance. Detecting current business trends in today's society can help make strategic decisions for whomever company quite frankly. Trends can lead to future changes and recognizing these trends can help determine your business’s impact (Manciu & Demyen, 2019). Has It Brought Value to You? Today I'm only in the seventh week (now), so I arrived, but I’m not all put together now. Although, to note the access to my school library is a rise for celebration and good times to come. Motto: Keep learning and never give up on your dreams, you know: "life is too short to be playing games". The streets don’t love you like a good book does, especially if it is about Roth Ira’s accounts you can double your money; google it. Now look at your life; Do you feel a change is coming? I do!
