I am a 4th-year student at Loma Linda University. My desire to be a speech-language pathologist is rooted in the empathy I have for individuals with challenging conditions and limitations that may impact them socially, academically, and in the workplace. It is my goal to foster confidence in their voices and an overall sense of self-worth. In addition to affirming clients, my passions involve advancing my knowledge on how to provide inclusive and equitable services to diverse and underserved populations. I optimize my opportunities for learning by partaking in clinical practicum, involvement in support groups, and taking courses centered cultural responsiveness.
