Bio

hello, my name is Kylah❤️. I will be the first generation to be able to attend college. My mother has worked hard, providing for me and my younger sibling, and I have really applied myself in school to to give myself the best possible chance of a further education, i love to read i love animals and i’m huge on family and equality. I really pride myself in community service, and being a part of our local community and trying to make a difference in my life and someone else’s daily. I believe if you put good out into the world even if you don’t get it back right away, it will find itself back to you, so I hope that me being here will be a opportunity so that I can further my education to be able to do more for my local community and reach a few others.

My life is like a mirror maze each decision I make either leads me to another opportunity to keep going or back to the reflection of myself. During my second semester of junior year of high school, I constantly saw my reflection and had to reflect on my choices. It was a hard year and I was on the verge of giving up. Slacking off and not giving my undivided attention to my education. These choices led me nowhere, I couldn't see a better me only the person I was staring at in my mirror maze. Though I would focus this essay on my academic accomplishments that wouldn't be realistic of me because the challenges I faced built me into the person I am today. The person Who didn't give up when they had no motivation for school or for day-to-day events, Who didn't give up when my GPA went down but only realized I had to go harder for what I desired or all my hard work would go to waste. I was in a depressive state. My dropped GPA was my downfall. I didn't want to continue school but I couldn't be mad at anyone but myself. I tried hard to get all my work in "but if only I tried my hardest from the start" I would think in the back of my head constantly. Self-responsibility is something I lead my life with majorly but honestly, I knew it wasn't because I was lazy or didn't care for school from the start but more of the fact of my conflicted mental health. Losing two of my close cousins to gun violence really changed me. You would never expect someone to be gone in the blink of an eye, especially at a young age. Having to go on with regular routine like it was normal was hard to adjust to when everything around me was negative. My biggest frustration was my tendency to put on a front for other's pleasure with ruminating thoughts of my family and how I wish things were different. All emotions flowed. sad from letting my feelings inflict my grades, and mad because I let someone else actions have sc *I didn't give you this grade you earned it." is a classic but true phrase used by mary teachers. One thing I learned from my experience in high school is that the effort you put in will determine your outcome. How I overcame my troubles was to incorporate discipline, putting everything that matters most first while remembering it is not too late to build and flourish. While also, keeping in mind that everyone has their good and bad days and it is on me to determine what role that would play in my life. I have had a lot of help along the way from teachers, friends, and my family. The small talk and noticing my progress kept me up and going and I couldn't thank them enough. Overall I am now finishing my last year of high school and ready to expand my knowledge and open new doors. I think I am the perfect fit for this university because I am now at the point where I may bump into a few mirrors along the way but I keep going until I see a new opportunity to grow.

my mother, is an essence of strength , love, and sincerity.,She gives us everything but never demand or expect anything in return. The true meaning of selflessness. she has always taught us to put more out into the world, and what you ever expect because your kindness that you provide to someone could be life-changing. I can remember times when we didn’t have much of anything she’s always provided somewhere for us to live food on our plates working days and neice to make sure that we were OK. But if someone asked her and she knew they truly need it she would always do it even when she could not afford to. But it went beyond her just being financially giving if she seen an elderly but it went beyond her just being financially, giving if she seen an elderly person or someone struggling, she would always leave a helping hand, for instance, we had an elderly neighbor who had no kids my mom seen how she used to struggle to get in and out of her car and into the home and make several trips to take groceries in. My mom insisted that me and my brother went to help and when we did, we noticed that she couldn’t do things around her house so from that day forward until the day she passed me my mother and my brother always want to help her. I asked my mom why she never asked you for help and my mom say sometime I need doesn’t need to be asked if you see it just insisting on helping to make someone life easier. If it doesn’t cost you anything. The way she cares for everyone in the family inspires me to do the same in my future. She instilled in me core values to treat everyone with respect as CEO or a homeless man. A woman deserves the same dignity. You never know anyone’s life story and how it is they got where they are weather for the good or bad in that moment, and that we all could be in their shoes, she’s always been big on giving back to the community even when in certain cases the community has taken from us as a family my mother is the single-handed most strongest courageous person I know I can remember there were times when I was younger and I used to doubt the love she had for me because I was a kid who was dealing with things didn’t quite understand as I grew older all the times in my life I look back on. I can see her love her fixing me lunches packing knows if anything was to happen with me and my brother tavetta gets sick and making us homemade chicken noodle soup sister, caring this of her love shines throughout , anyone she’s connected to I aspire to be such a good human. and I think that she’s gave me everything I could possibly ask for to do just that spread, love throughout the world, kindness, treating people with dignity, and doing onto others, as we would like done unto us. i’m finding hard to get where I need to be in life. My mother taught me that to never give up no matter the circumstances or situations she always called them temporary moments in Lexis chance, but as long as we have breath, we have another day to fight. I will be the first person in my direct family to go to college and for that I am thankful just for the opportunity.

Life doesn't go without vision; change and innovation for long enough and there demand for growing up and improvement definitely arises, if you intend to live competent with other society. If you think about these vision and innovation, there is a leadership skills are required to be played for having and organized and developed society. Through leadership skills we are paving paths to people to walk on and achieve the common goal that we all struggle for.a real story of our own society's leadership, offcourse, everyone in the society cannot be a leader, there will be one person having strong leadership skill to convince people to pursue him and it won't be coming through offering speeches or making promises, it do come up with presenting live examples and evidence. In the society where I live for 17+ years now, there were very few people accommodated in the area when I came here and often there were disputes and clashes among people and there was not even think of improvement and innovation for the coming generation, we passed years without any change in our lifestyle and we were the poorest people of the area as well. Once upon a day, a person whose family still undertaking responsibility of leading this area came up with ideas of resolving the deputes and think of the improvement and grow up for themselves and for their coming generation, it it was not an easy task to change people's minds and influence them to following and obey whatever you suggest or offer, but he did and this action brought many changes and opportunities that helped people to think of for the betterment of future. To me, leadership is about connection. I know that I have a voice and an immense dedication to emotional intelligence in children. My ability to focus on other people goes hand-in-hand with my ability to speak through a tiger puppet. Both are about closing gaps and bringing people closer to a basic understanding. I hope to use my leadership abilities within the field of psychology to build more connections between people and communities. To me, leadership is about connection. I know that I have a voice and an immense dedication to emotional intelligence in connecting with people, My ability to focus on other people goes hand-in-hand with my ability to speak and reach people by understanding their background and exemplifying my ability to make change and that makes for a great leader.
