Greetings, my name is Ajahnae Moore and I'm a Marjory Stoneman Douglas survivor from Parkland, Florida. It's been 4 years since the mass shooting and though the world has not been the same to me, I still strive to make it better each day. Aside from becoming an entrepreneur, I am also planning on working in the field of cybersecurity for a Fortune 500 company, giving back, and supporting different charitable organizations as well. I discovered while attending college that I am passionate about writing heartfelt poems, expressing my faith in God, making people smile, traveling, and fashion. The scholarship opportunity I am seeking is not just about the money, it is about bringing me closer to my goal. To do that, I need your help. I'm using the money to utilize my full potential and finish my bachelor's or master's degree in college, something most students would use for personal use. I would love to take advantage of this opportunity. One of the things I want to share is a quote from my former high school, which reads, “Be the Change You Want to See.” I am confident that by receiving a scholarship, I will serve as that change, not only for me but also for future generations who may feel as though they cannot do it or are considering giving up on something they have always wanted to do.
