Living in Colorado has been an experience i was not born here but moved to Pueblo Colorado when i was about 7 years old. I was the new kid and was nervous about going to a new school with no one i knew with this i had to be an extroverted kid. Growing up i didn’t have the best time i had dealing with a lot of troubles such as abuse. With abuse and moving away from mostly all my family it was hard i never had that person to help me get through it all i had to try and rely on making friends hoping they could make me feel better which is why i became more introverted and the “class clown” My academic success started great later started dropping as i went to Sky View middle school where i wouldn’t pay attention as much once i got to Pueblo West high school it started getting better but still not the best during my high school years i joined many clubs like FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), HOSA (Future Health Professionals), and Interact club also known as rotary these clubs taught me so much wether it was from business to medical to helping me help others, i also was apart of sports teams such as Basketball for 3 years, baseball for 1 and track and field for 1 these taught me a hard work ethic, strong mindset, how to be a leader and to simply never give up. Growing up i was always told to graduate high school not really to go to college only by a couple people my older sister whom is just a year older being the first blood family member to go to college i will be the second in my family to go with this we didn’t have much knowledge on how to apply where to go and even what to do i really wasn’t thinking about college until my sister went then i started just thinking about a simple trade but i wanted to shoot higher i wanted to be the first man in my family to not just work a blue collar job know i should be going to Pueblo Community College to continue my education and major in Sonography. The reason i chose PCC is because it would be cheaper than a university and it will be easier for me to attend i don’t have much financial help so i tried many scholarships hoping to get more help.
