My name is Adriana Roman I am a senior at Jefferson Township High School and I’m pursuing a trade in aviation. I realized I was never passionate or interested in typical college and what it had to offer, I took a discover flight and instantly knew aviation was going to be my future. I’m pursuing it because it’s an important job that helps people, it’s essential globally. It’s an extremely unique experience and feeling to be flying a plane, it’s something I became passionate, and after that first flight. I would pay it forward in multiple ways, one being becoming a certified flight instructor and teaching others how to fly and pursue their career. Once I become certified, I would be able to give back and then teach students how to get better at their specific passion in aviation like my instructor has helped me. I will try to inspire others to overcome the difficulties trade schools and unique career paths by showing the hard work in learning, working to support this path, and the work it takes to find and put themselves out there in resources that can help.
