Hi! My name is Adriana. I am an incredibly involved student, have taken 9 AP Classes and am part of various clubs and extracurricular, including DECA, Science Club, and Jazz band. With all of these activities I keep pretty busy, though I still try to give back to my community whenever I can through volunteering. My experiences at high school have taught me organization, time management, and adaptability when things don't necessarily go to plan. Throughout my academic career, I have taken mostly STEM course, including 4 science/math APs, 3 PLTW Engineering, and 2 BXExel manufacturing classes after school. Outside of this, I attended WPI's Launch summer program, specializing in Aerospace Engineering where I was able to learn about flight physics and fluid mechanics as well as design our own airfoils based on what we learned. I carry passion for everything I do, and try to work to make the best of any opportunity and situation. I have a billion interests, from space to houseplants, and can talk about all of them for hours. I love all things STEM, though still strive to be an interdisciplinary student. My goals are to be able to build and design technologies to further our knowledge and better humanity, and help society so everyone can have an even playing ground for success. Being able to understand how everything works is incredibly insightful, and problem solving solutions even more so. If My future work is able to improve someone's life, that would mean everything to me. My biggest dream is to work for NASA, and explore the stars.
