Ward Green Scholarship for the Arts & Sciences
I want to expand my sights and outlook. Pushing the boundaries of the world around me. Setting new limitations and improving on things that need such things. On a small scale, I helped expand my interest in health careers within my community by starting partnerships with all of those around me. Partnering with local clinics, doctors' offices, and hospitals putting these opportunities to high schools or even middle schools could help broaden the scopes and passions of those who wish to be in the medical field. Health science is a special type of field, where we can work in almost any environment and be placed in any condition. Helping people and the overall condition of humanity is the name of the game, and we challenge ourselves as researchers, doctors, and even just friends. The role of this position means everything to me, serving people who urgently need help and providing a haven for those in trouble is a passion I share with myself and everyone around me. The variety of experiences that have helped my state of leadership is critical in the way I have learned to present myself along with my ideas. Establishing that my leadership is one of the most paramount things in my life, pushing that essence and quality of selflessness to any situation to help push forward. People that I have met and listened to have changed my world. Blasting my engagement with everything I have learned about understanding people, getting to know them, and connecting with them in a common interest. Getting myself to connect what it means to work in healthcare and determining my role as a leader, has helped shape who I am as a citizen and human. The greatest example of exemplifying my ability and understanding would have been when our student council traveled to a regional retreat. Here over 200 students were attending, more specifically we were placed into cabins with multiple different people. This is where I rose above and found to know everyone in this cabin, setting shower schedules and ensuring everyone was safe and secure for the two nights we bunked with one another. Furthermore, specializing in emergency medicine will effectively impact every aspect of my life. Where I can finally help all those in need on the frontline. Working with schools, hospitals, and even individual students I want to make a positive and safe impact on my home community. Where I can use my work here in El Paso and build on it; moving on to trying to make awareness and educational foundation built on the objective to try and protect and keep all of those around you safe. This foundation can help all those people whom you care about and need help, with the aspirations of going on a national scale. My only goal is to try and help everyone, and to stop being the small scared little boy who was not able to help his friends. My medical degree and discipline in emergency medicine will shape what the average student and teacher should know about personal safety. Making the absolute most out of my career. My only goal is to try and make effective changes, no matter how small.

    AHS Scholarship
Though the schooling for someone who wants to be an M.D. is quite lengthy, I hope that I can manage to get multiple internships for clinics, hospitals, or even laboratories. While I am in a career and technical school, I am going into health science and will be trying to get a certificate in being a Patient Care technician. Going through college I want to be able to have a preceptorship, due to the fact of my having the PCT certification upon graduation means that I can work with patients on my own. Furthermore, it is critical that in college I can get a preceptorship because this provides me a closer look into what it means to be a doctor and what I can learn from working hands-on with a physician. These opportunities will give me extra insight and additional experience into how and what it means to be a medical doctor. Going a step further such as getting a mentorship with an emergency medical doctor will serve me well as I move through college and transition into medical school. Experiences and internships are the things that help shape and grow someone in the desired field. Where a collision of classroom learning and hands-on learning collide. Moving into a college setting is what I learn the most. Creating a bridge between everything I am learning and becoming a better student in the process. Typing this now as a high school senior I only wish that I could help them. By receiving the Guillet scholarship I can attend college and graduate with as little debt as I possibly can. Overcoming this fear of being unable to help, was my major motivator in picking medicine as my career path. Furthermore, specializing in emergency medicine will effectively impact every aspect of my life. Where I can finally help all those in need on the frontline. Working with schools, hospitals, and even individual students I want to make a positive and safe impact on my home community. My only goal is to try and make effective changes, no matter how small. Creating an impact that can reshape the minds of those who want to participate. Though it is my only wish to try and help anyone I can, no matter how small they may think they are, someone cares about them, and should not go alone. Where no knowledge should be left unknown, I want to teach all of those around the world about personal safety. Making anywhere we go safer and more educated on how to help people or give them a basic understanding of lifesaving procedures. Where this foundation is named the Humane Health Association and it focuses on trying the keeping tomorrow's future safer and more secure.
    Aspiring Musician Scholarship
Starting from elementary school, music has been an integral part of my life. Where I go to concerts and practice day and night. Resonance and vibrations make up the colorful vibrancy we connect music with. The rhythms and rhymes which make up how we feel, music places a large part in our lives, lifting us up, letting listeners understand and connect with how the pieces of work match with how we feel. And for me, music has kept me from following more troublesome paths, further allowing me to express the way I feel and identify with what emotions certain genres evoke. A story that remains true to who I am and led me to become a great musician was when in my 6th and 7th-grade years in middle school. There was a competition for talented young musicians, called All-Region. This was an audition-style competition where we play excerpts of etudes. Though I was talented and driven I was stretched thin with time. Where I pushed myself to be as involved as I could. As my driven passion limited me, I was sitting with my director after school to practice. And something that led me to prioritize how to channel my time and energy, was when he told me that I'm behind on where I should be on my etudes. Telling me I wasn't committed and letting me know I wasn't going to make it. I did not make it. As the next year rolled around and the All-Region music was released, then putting myself to work on how to play the music at a high level. After taking to heart the words of wisdom my director told me, I then made the top band and made myself to further pursue music. As I started high school I rose to be a very great French horn player, getting solos in 3 of our marching shows, and being the 1st horn in our concert band. Even moving to be a 2-time area all-region qualifier. Now moving into my college career, I am going to pursue marching band this fall and make more of my music career in our university music department. Hoping to play our music at a high level, and be honored to be invited to the leadership of the band, even more so to tutor or teach younger musicians. I hope to be a great musician in my far future.

Where we see in many different ancient languages, there are symbols and understandings, compared to modern language, where we have the alphabet and compounding of singular letters to form words. Hebrew's "Chai" entailing life means to be awake, holding yourself to a new height. Embracing a new way to feel and think, campaigning the feeling of joy, and fulfilling yourself to anything you desire enamors you to keep going.

In our lives, we move and share our life. Leadership is a way of performing our way to control and help in projects, or even our lives. A story that stays reminiscent of how I provide leadership was when our student council went to a leadership workshop one winter. Something very evident to me was how our cabin of 100 students was to be ready for the early morning breakfast and seminars, where I managed a large group of people and separated times for limited showering and bathroom space. This further connects to my daily life. Where I make effective scheduling, planners and have myself dedicated to where there is a set goal. Whether it would be a fitness goal, academic goal, or combination of goals. Setting goals for myself has always been a statement of how I want to be an effective person in the future and combining the short and long-term goals sets a course for success. My prior experiences such as being an Academic Decathlon team leader, student council student body manager, and more so. Although my path to pushing a more rigorous career in medicine is my paramount priority while going into higher education. I want to expand my sights and outlook. This quote made me think of life today as a high school student. Observing everything and everyone around me there are certain social cues and interactions that people don't interpret. Whether Those who play video games and even people sheltered through quarantine. The impact of video games has been a pivotal topic for psychologists and behavioral researchers. How the absence of social interactions between people around them is stunted, causing an event where it may seem like you were talking to someone of a younger age. This discourse may then serve as a result of the isolation caused by video games, where certain chemical reactions within our brains are now rewired to be hooked onto things in video games.
