Bio

Goal-oriented high school sophomore in search of any opportunity to strengthen my aviation, leadership, and academic skillset through jobs, internships, experiences, etc. I am high achieving and am doing all that I can to set myself up for success as an aspiring USAFA Falcon, and USAF aviator. By building meaningful connections and creating a professional network, I have been able to learn a lot, and I have been able to expose myself to many different work environments. As an honorable scholarship recipient of the Lt. David Schmitz Foundation Flight Scholarship, and the Aim High Flight Academy, I am in search of opportunities to acquire new skills while striving to go above and beyond. One thing I have learned about this industry is that aviation is a rough road, and it all starts with a dream. However, it isn't as accessible as most other careers. In an effort to make a difference, I began a personal non-profit with the intention to provide guidance to aspiring pilots, by giving them access to a network of professionals in this industry. I am always open to learning new things and help in any way I can. Do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime.

      KG Aviation Scholarship
Current Certificates & Flight Hours: - Student Pilots License - 14.7 Hours Essay: I cannot envision a future without aviation playing a significant role in my life. When I say those words, I mean it with both my whole heart and soul. Ever since I was little, I have had an immense passion for flight which has never ceased to grow. When an airplane would pass by above, my eyes would jolt to the sky, and I would stare until it went out of sight. Even then, the contrails the airplanes left behind would keep me mesmerized until it disappeared into the beautiful night sky. I still experience this same joy and exhilaration today. When I hear the thundering sound of powerful engines pass above, I still jump out of my seat and dash outside. It comes as no surprise that aviation is an incredibly challenging industry to succeed in. There is an immeasurable amount of dedication, and ambition behind every pilot who is up in the skies today. Many times, have we been told “no” and discouraged to our breaking points trying to further our knowledge in this industry. However, what matters is not how many times you are knocked down, but how many times you are able to overcome these challenges and rise to the top, as demonstrated by aviation pioneers. At the moment, most of my thoughts are consumed by earning my private pilot's license by age seventeen and setting myself up for success as a military aviator. For the past two years, I have been conducting research and joining organizations such as Civil Air Patrol where I am a T/Sgt, EAA, etc. to expand my knowledge base to help achieve my dreams. Unfortunately, the costs associated with flight training are too high for my family and I to fund all the way through. For this reason, I have had to think of innovative solutions to achieve my dream. In the summer of 2020, I had signed up for an aviation camp at my local airport. I was so excited to learn about aviation, and unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic had shut it down. I was truly disheartened, and I couldn’t find any similar activity anywhere near me. For this reason, I decided to create my own, and in August of 2020, my own non-profit, Aviation Exposures took off. Students from around the world gathered to learn about a shared passion from industry professionals who volunteered their time to present their careers. Since then, my love and excitement for aviation have continued growing. After much hard work, I was fortunate enough to intern at my airport, and accept a scholarship to the Aim High Flight Academy where I achieved my first solo. Receiving the KG aviation scholarship would enable me to continue my education, and would bring me one step closer to making a difference in the world of aviation.
