Hello! I'm Aadhi Balasubramanian, a current senior at Eagan High School. After I complete my high school education, I intend on majoring in Applied Mathematics, with a concentration on its applications in human-computer interactions (HCI) and data science. This desire comes from a Sanskrit quote that has influenced my childhood: "Lokah Samasthah Sukhino Bhavanthu"--translating to "May all human beings be happy". Growing up as a Hindu, this quote has shaped my belief that community service is not just something we do, but a way of living. Therefore, I desire to integrate serving others into the career path I choose. Outside of school and extracurriculars, I enjoy meditating, trying new vegetarian foods, and going on long walks in my neighborhood.   Camp Invention's Leadership Intern program offers high school and college students the opportunity to mentor young participants in STEM concepts, develop leadership skills, and earn up to 40 volunteer hours, culminating in a personalized letter of recognition from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

• As a Children's Teacher and Mentor, I guided over 30 students in meditation and holistic health practices, secured first place in a meditation competition with over 100 participants, and volunteered at annual events attended by more than 50,000 people.

  Mission:

  Ethical living is a fundamental aspect of living peaceful lives. The interactions that we have with others are governed by our beliefs and morals. I've had the opportunity to teach and learn simultaneously ethical living and the art of meditation to children of all ages. The topics ranged from conflict resolution, the practice of meditation, nonviolence, honesty, and humility. In addition, I participate by planning and executing programs at cultural events to encourage learning of traditional Indian culture whilst still encouraging children to have fun at the same time.

• I serve as Executive Director, where I have built a team of 15 tutors and 7 college advisors, revamped outreach efforts to enroll 120+ new students in three months, and helped the organization grow to 560+ students.
