Success is defined by your own standards. My personal standards are to be happy, healthy, and the best I can in my field. This includes on the softball field, in the classroom, and at work. Throughout my life I have always pursued what has interested me. When I was younger, I wanted to be a lawyer. So I took practice bar exams and joined Youth Court. Then, I decided I wanted to be a teacher. Now I work with kids through the Parks and Rec department as a Site Supervisor, and I also work at a daycare. I also want to play college softball. So I worked hard, and got as many offers as I could, and now I am committed to play college softball. All of this is proof that if you work hard, success will come. You might not get the outcome you expected, and there will most certainly be setbacks, but it will all work out in the end. The difference between me and my peers is I am willing to do anything it takes to be successful when it matters. Doing whatever it takes to achieve your dreams is something not everyone is willing to do, but it sets apart those who will continue to have success over and over again, and those who will not. All in all, success is determined on your own, but what you do to achieve success is the same. You have to work hard and care more than everyone else.
