I am currently studying Child Development with the goal of becoming a Certified Child Life Specialist. My passion is helping children and families navigate difficult medical experiences. I want to work in a hospital setting where I can support children by helping them understand what is happening around them and making stressful situations feel less overwhelming. I have gained valuable experience working with children through my roles in childcare and preschool settings. I currently work at a Montessori preschool where I help design curriculum based on the children’s interests, maintain daily routines, and create a safe and supportive learning environment. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, and leadership skills while reinforcing my passion for child development. My long-term goals are to build a meaningful career as a Child Life Specialist and create a stable, comfortable life for myself and my future family. I am motivated to work hard so that I can provide a great life for my future children while also making a positive difference in the lives of others. I believe I am a strong candidate for this scholarship because of my dedication to my education, my hands-on experience working with children, and my determination to turn my passion into a career that supports families during some of their most challenging moments.
