The world today is not the best place to live in. Like most things, it has room for improvement. The way certain things are run and controlled in the world needs to change. First, let's address how people are not willing to accept the changes in the world. In general, I believe that when people don't accept the changes in the world, it starts problems or discussions that become world wide issues. I'm from a christian family. Convincing them that certain things in the world have changed since they were my age is difficult, especially if they are stuck in their ways. So that being said the conversation of Pronouns or sexual orientation is a hard topic to talk about. When the conversations do come across us, I prefer to not add myself in it. Once there was a conversation with my whole family about the use of pronouns and why it is important to use them, but it went nowhere. They have yet to understand the importance of using the right pronouns. I tried to explain how people choose to be called what they want to because they simply have a choice to change their pronouns to make themselves feel more comfortable in the body that they are in. My family wouldn't understand, but would ask the question how other people are supposed to know which pronouns to use. Just asking would simply do. But instead of understanding they would say that's stupid. It wouldn't be hard to share with them my sexuality or pronouns. If people accepted or even understood certain things the topic of abortion wouldn't become as big of an issue as people made it to be today. People should understand that other people have the Opportunity to make decisions to better their life in today's world. But with the people that are refusing to understand or accept change make it hard to live in today's society and world. To answer the question, "what change do I wish to see in the world? My answer would be to see more acceptance in the world. But that wouldn't happen today or tomorrow. If there were more accepting in the world, certain things wouldn't happen such as someone deciding to terrorize Pride parades. Acceptance is key to the bettering of the world. Another change I would like to see in the world is the proper and necessary restriction or laws placed to better the world we live in, such as, gun laws, or necessary steps in place to purchase a gun. Instead of Proper gun laws in place, there are procedures made just in case someone walks into a school with a gun. There have been too many School shootings to occur in the United States to not have strict gun laws in place. Everytime a school shooting or a mass shooting occurs the same things happen following it, there is media support, news reports, protests to take place then everything goes silent until the next one to happen. I would like to have laws make sense, because to have strict laws on abortion, or to be over 21 to buy a drink, but you can be a mentually unstable person and buy a gun, but yet there is not laws or procedures in place to pervent that. The world would be a better place with necessary laws and Acceptance of change.
