I carried a heavy burden of persistent overanalyzing, insecurity, and failure-related worry for many years. I always felt like I was lagging behind and straining to catch up while bearing a burden that only I could see. My capacity to concentrate, make judgments, and feel confidence in myself was all impacted by anxiety. Even though I really wanted to do something, I frequently doubted my ability to do it. As I grew older, I realized that I couldn't ignore or put my anxiousness under control. It was a part of my life, and I needed to learn how to deal with it if I was going to be successful. Russia's war in Ukraine has been witnessed by the world in horror; the conflict has had an impact much beyond the borders of the countries involved. The war has served as a sobering reminder of the transience of peace and the interdependence of the world community. Despite being geographically apart, the effects of this conflict have had a significant impact on my outlook on life, my goals for my studies, and my dedication to changing the world for the better. The war has made people more conscious of the fragility of the world and how vulnerable societies are. I have developed a strong sense of empathy after seeing the pain and uprooting that countless Ukrainian families have experienced. I now understand how easily circumstances outside our control can upend lives and how flimsy our sense of security can be. This realization has motivated me to value the security and opportunity I have and to use my degree to make the world more equitable and stable. In light of these international events, my academic journey in marketing has assumed a new sense of urgency and purpose. In my opinion, education is a tool for empowerment and transformation as much as a means of achieving personal achievement. As a result, I've decided to pursue a marketing career that would enable me to advocate for mental health awareness while simultaneously fostering meaningful connections with people. My experience with mental health has shown me the value of resilience and self-compassion. On days when the tension felt too much to bear, I would withdraw inside of myself and question my capacity to be successful in my academic work or professional endeavors. But as a result of these experiences, I've learnt to love myself more and accept that my value is determined more by my ability to overcome challenges than it is by any outward accomplishments. With me through the highs and lows of my academic career at Minnesota State University, where I am currently pursuing a degree in marketing, this belief has grown to be a pillar of my life. My experience with mental health has improved my sensitivity and comprehension of other people in my interactions. I've come to understand that everyone has secret weights that they bear on a daily basis.
