I see a future in welding because starting at a young age I grew up around my dad and my grandpas welding around me. I just recently got accepted into Western Welding Academy over in Wyoming. I've known I've always wanted to weld and after my grandpas passing I really pushed for it because I knew it would be something he would be proud of. I spend a lot of time in his shop practicing my tig and mig welding as often as I can. Welding is something that makes me feel like my grandpa is still with me. I personally want to go into pipeline welding. I work hard and try my best to accomplish everything I ever wanted. I show my work ethic in multiple things, as of right now I go to school and as soon as my school day is over I head to work over at A1 Industrials until around 4:30 and then I make my way to work at the bowling alley 5-10 every weekday. As well as on our breaks I put in as much time as possible so I go into A1 at 6:00am till 4:30 and then continue my work day at the bowling alley. I am also a very independent person. I paid for my own truck in cash by working as much as I could. I pay my own insurance and make sure my payment is never late. I try to budget my money as much as possible due to the fact that I work 2 towns over from where I live so, gas tends to add up fast. I also believe I am very responsible. I am not the best at some subjects in school so I work harder in certain classes to make sure my grades stay up to passing requirements so I come in on non-school days or even an hour and a half early on regular school days to make up work. I believe welding is in my future because welding gives me peace of mind. I can stay up pretty late just welding because I love seeing the finished product of something I did start to finish. I also remember a quote saying "If you love what you do you'll never have to work a day in your life." I believe this quote is true for me. Every time I go out to the shop It never feels like I'm working. Everyone has something that brings happiness and a sense of security mine is welding.
