As a lifelong student of the Dover Area School District, I have challenged myself academically, socially, and athletically. I have taken advantage of academic opportunities, such as dual enrollment, honors classes, and advanced placement courses. Entering my senior year, I have a 4.12 GPA and a class rank of 23/229 (Top 10%). In addition to my academic record, I have participated in the Dover Area High School soccer program, and I continue to participate at the varsity level in cross country and track and field. Prior to the global pandemic, I had volunteered for several community service projects and participated in the Dover Area High School Thon, which has helped to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund for children with cancer. Recently, I secured employment with a nationwide retailer, which has earned me “Employee of the Month” as well as an associate trainer and member of the store’s diversity and inclusion committee. As I look forward to future goals, I plan to major in business at a four-year university. I am excited about the additional opportunities I may have at the university level for service and volunteerism and hope to continue expanding on my academic, social, and athletic goals there as well. It is with great anticipation that I look ahead to my college career. It is the beginning of another chapter and discovering more about myself as an individual, as well as how I can best contribute to a new community.
