As a mother of three active boys, aged 9, 8, and just 1, my journey through motherhood has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. I became a mother at the tender age of 19, navigating the harsh realities of addiction and homelessness that marked my early years. These struggles, though daunting, have only intensified my resolve to create a brighter future for myself and my children. Driven by my desire for change and a better life, I took the courageous step to further my education. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Chamberlain University, with the heartfelt goal of becoming a registered nurse. It is my dream to provide care and compassion to those who need it most during their times of vulnerability. But my aspirations extend even further. After earning my BSN and becoming a registered nurse, I intend to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). This path will allow me to become a certified nurse practitioner and an advanced practice registered nurse. I am filled with hope and excitement as I work to transform my dreams into reality, not just for myself, but more importantly, for the bright future I envision for my family.
