Hi! My name is Abigail Orenday, and I am currently enrolled in the nursing program at Cerritos College pursuing my Associates Degree in Nursing. I currently work as an Emergency Medical Technician, and my past experiences include serving as a lifeguard and as an Anatomy Supplemental Instruction leader at my previous university, California State University, Long Beach. Outside of academics and work, I enjoy spending time with friends exploring all that Southern California has to offer, as well as reading, trying new hobbies, and volunteering in the nursing transport department at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center. After completing nursing school, I hope to specialize in the ICU with my interests geared toward Neonatal Intensive Care, Trauma ICU, General ICU and Cardiovascular ICU . My long-term goal is to pursue my MSN-Ed in hopes of teaching future nurses and eventually pursuing my DNP.
