Hi! My name is Abigail Orenday, and I am a junior nursing major at California State University, Long Beach. I currently work as an Emergency Medical Technician, and my past experiences include serving as a lifeguard and as an Anatomy Supplemental Instruction leader at my university. Outside of academics and work, I enjoy spending time with friends exploring all that Southern California has to offer, as well as reading, trying new hobbies, and volunteering in the nursing transport department at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center. After completing nursing school, I hope to commission into the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, with aspirations to specialize in Emergency Medicine or the ICU. My long-term goal is to pursue a career as a flight nurse and eventually become a Nurse Practitioner.
