After seeing my dog struggling with her endless skin issues and irritation, I made it my goal to better understand why this was occurring and how to spread the news to other pet owners on how to take care of fur babies that have severe allergies. The only way I figured I could do this is by undertaking the adventure of a life time and becoming a veterinarian and caring for those animals who needs someone who cares. I aspire to graduate with a doctorate of veterinary medicine and begin caring for all living creatures. I especially want to focus on large mammals. Ideally, I’d like to go into food animal medicine to ensure the safety and comfort of these animals along with the health of the animals so humans can be safe when consuming them.

Team Crosby Forever Veterinary Medicine Scholarship
The decision to embark on a journey in veterinary medicine is often driven by a deep love and concern for animals. For me, this passion was ignited by my own personal experience with my dog's allergies to cats, grass, beef, and chicken. This circumstance motivated me to delve deeper into the world of veterinary medicine, not only to understand and address my furry companion's health issues but also to educate other pet owners on proper animal care. My dog's allergies served as a catalyst for my interest in veterinary medicine. Witnessing my little girls discomfort and the challenges it posed for her sparked a desire to gain a comprehensive understanding of animal health. By studying veterinary medicine, I aim to empathize with other pet owners facing similar challenges and provide them with the knowledge and tools to ensure their pets' well-being. Studying veterinary medicine offers an invaluable opportunity to acquire a deep understanding of animals, their anatomy, physiology, and behavior.
Through comprehensive coursework and practical training, I aspire to broaden my knowledge base and develop the expertise necessary to diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health issues. This expertise will enable me to provide effective and compassionate care to animals in need. My personal experience with my dog's allergies has made me acutely aware of the importance of preventive medicine. A crucial aspect of being a veterinarian is educating pet owners on proper animal care. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I aim to empower pet owners to make informed decisions regarding their pets' health, nutrition, and overall well-being. I believe that well-informed pet owners not only provide better care for their furry friends but also contribute to the overall improvement of animal welfare in society. I am keen on exploring strategies to prevent and manage allergies in animals, helping pet owners create environments that minimize allergen exposure and improve their pets' quality of life. Through research and practical application, I hope to contribute to the development of effective preventive measures and treatments for allergies in animals. Veterinary medicine encompasses not only the physical health of animals but also their emotional and mental well-being. I am deeply interested in exploring the field of animal behavior and its impact on overall health. By adopting a holistic approach to animal care, I aspire to provide comprehensive treatment plans that address all aspects of an animal's well-being, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling life for them. In conclusion, my decision to study veterinary medicine stems from a personal experience with my dog's allergies and a desire to expand my knowledge and expertise in animal care.
By pursuing this path, I aim to educate and empower pet owners in providing the best possible care for their beloved companions. Whether through preventive medicine, allergy
management, or a holistic approach to animal health, my ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their devoted caretakers.
Through a career in veterinary medicine, I hope to contribute to the betterment of animal welfare and the strengthening of the human-animal bond.
Bold Selfless Acts Scholarship
I am committed to helping others by attending vet school and offering veterinary services along with doing missionary work helping peoples pets or farm animals while at the same time educating them with the lords word. I would also train them in helping their animals themselves so they don’t have to deal with the expensive of veterinarians. In addition to this, I wish to help people going through mental or physical illnesses by freely training service animals, such as dogs or miniature horses. As a vet, I would strive to help the animals who contribute to keeping our planet alive and help our society run smoothly. These animals can provide us water, pollen, clothing, food. I would help peoples livestock by providing cheap vet services to keep their businesses alive and to allow them to continue to make a living. My passion is with animals but I truly believe animals help people.
Youssef University’s College Life Scholarship
If I won $1000, I would save it and put it towards my veterinarian school. I want to become a livestock vet; however, I have to finish getting my associates through my community college.
If I could spend it on anything other than college I would put it towards buying a car so I can start working. My mom and stepdad are both working full time and I don’t have access to a car. We live far out in the country and so we’re not walking distance from any job I could get. My stepdad said if I get half the payment for a car that he would pay the rest.
Another thing I would use the $1000 for is to travel and see my childhood best friend in England. He moved there when he was young and we lost touch until he came to visit for a day, we exchanged numbers and then haven’t lost touch since. He’s the type of friend I don’t have to see or talk to for a long time and when we talk it’s like we never stopped.
But if I got it right now, I would definitely use it for my college tuition because that’s the most important thing in my life right now.
Pet Lover Scholarship
I once had a dog named Kiki. She was actually my stepdads dog. I met her when she was about eleven and a half. She and I immediately had a connection and even though she grew up with him, she adopted me. When my mom and I moved in with my stepdad, she started sleeping in my room and I stayed home with her during the day. Fast forward a year and a half, she was 13 and began having seizures and refused to eat. My stepdad made the call that it was time and we all said our goodbyes.
From that time on I never knew a dogs love could mean so much. Losing my baby girl was the worst thing I’ve ever had to experience. But I’m glad I got to know her and her love. I’m glad I got to see her smile and feel her hugs.
Before losing her, I was in charge of giving her medications and taking care of her and the worst part was that we couldn’t afford to take her to the vet and find out what was really wrong or that if we could save her.
That experience is what made me want to become a vet and ensure I would do everything in my power to save other peoples pets.
However, attending vet school is quite expensive and sets you up for a lot of student loans. Which is why every dollar saved up counts.
