Hi I'm Abi and I'm a sophomore in college! I am studying English and Japanese and hoping to teach English in the future in other countries! I volunteer at a third grade classroom in between classes, and work an art gallery on campus to offset some of my living costs. I do not have a specific career path in mind right now, but I'm working on a project with a mentor in children's book publishing. I am lucky enough to have a lot of different interests and have had a lot of wonderful women in my life help pursue those interests. I both participated in and worked for the Kode with Klossy company that empowers young women to learn about STEM and coding. I used a lot of skills from that experience, not just computer ones. I learned the importance of having a network of strong and empowering women around me and still keep in contact with a lot of them today.
