I am a Salvadoran American high school student, and I am passionate about technology and what positive impacts I can create. Technology has opened doors for me to showcase my creativity and ambition by creating virtual showcases depicting geography, architecture, and wildlife using scripts and codes. I integrate my interests into my showcases so my projects will have more of a personal meaning and touch. I am dedicated to earning a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field, along with earning certifications and internships. One of my life goals is to learn more about the lifestyles of rural people around the world. Although right now I do not have the funds to travel, I am learning about different cultures and languages around the world so when I go visit these countries, I will possess some knowledge of their culture. I am planning to observe the lifestyle of the Amazigh tribe, the Quechua people, the Romani people, the K'iche people, and the Maasai people. I am interested in how geography affects the lifestyle, architecture, dances, and folklore of people around the world. I currently work a part-time job and sell pan dulces and pupusas around my town to fund my future higher educational journey. Being Christian, Latino, and LGBT from a low-income household is not an easy path, however, my parents would always work hard to provide for me and my siblings, from selling food by knocking door to door, babysitting, or even selling food in parking lots, I learned that there is always a way to achieve your goals and dreams, all you need is ambition and faith.
