I have familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), a rare genetic condition that causes several different types of cancers and is fatal without regular screenings. I have already found multiple precancerous areas of skin on my body, which I am l lucky to have found before they developed into melanoma. On a positive note, I am very hardworking and have kept a high GPA through schooling, and I am also graduating early due to choosing to go to a school where I could work at my own pace. This has been very beneficial for my health and education, and I’m even graduating as a top 10% student. I highly enjoy indulging in my creative side with music, baking, and art. I also love studying space, the ocean, and chemistry. One major field I have been interested in ever since I was younger has been psychology. The human mind is very interesting and it is fun to study all of the types of mental conditions and how to treat them.
