WinnerBio
I am currently pursuing a degree in Forensic Psychology. I hope to use to my degree towards my goal of working for an organization like The Innocence Project, which helps wrongly incarcerated individuals achieve freedom. Since my Starbucks location unionized in September of 2023, I have been heavily involved in our union's campaign for a contract. In January of 2024 I was one of eleven workers from across the country chosen to attend the Creating Change conference on behalf of Starbucks Workers United as a member of the Trans Rights Action Committee. In March of 2024, I joined four other individuals and helped form the Disability Inclusion Subcommittee (DIS). While, through no fault of my own, my employment with Starbucks has ended due to an unfair labor practice we are currently pursuing a charge for, I continue to run the DIS social media pages, as well as chair the monthly meetings. Overall, I am a person who has a passion for equality, justice, and social change who will continue to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
