I read books daily.
Hello there! I'm a first-generation college student from Vietnam, and I'm most passionate about working with other people to raise awareness about important issues, such as racism, xenophobia, and homophobia. I hope to inspire students from the same background to unite and fight for the right cause. As someone who has suffered from anorexia nervosa and depression, I want to support those who are going through the same struggle and help them overcome it! Growing up in poverty, I witnessed how a lack of medical care can have a detrimental effect on a community, and I have experienced first-hand not being able to afford health care. I have been working and volunteering as a CNA, and I hope to one day become a nurse practitioner or an oncologist to help enhance healthcare in underserved communities. In my free time, I operate a clothing business that has reached customers from all over the globe. This past summer I was able to contribute $4,000 in profit to fund homeless and impoverished communities and provide essential needs to women shelters in my city. Instagram: @_emileemai
