Working in childcare is a noble and fulfilling field that brings out the essence of people’s creativity, energy, and passion. I feel a deep sense of joy every time I am presented with opportunities to nurture the minds of young, curious children. I help them learn about the world around them. In this essay, I will explain why I love working in childcare and how it has shaped me as a person. When kids feel protected, cherished, and nurtured, they flourish. Building a solid foundation for kids to learn, develop, and become distinctive individuals, and seeing them bloom into happy and healthy people can be so rewarding. Working with children ensures each day will be a unique adventure because kids are exciting and unpredictable! Nothing matches the energy of a child's enthusiasm for life and eagerness to learn. You will find yourself engaging in different tasks and activities every day. Ever since I volunteered to participate in educational activities for children at my local library, I have wanted to help take care of children. I see the potential of being a positive influence in their lives and helping them learn in an age-appropriate manner.” The early years of a child’s life can have an incredible impact on their future. They’re not only learning colors, words, shapes and numbers they’re learning how to interact with others, explore the world, and understand and express their own emotions. It’s a great responsibility to be an early childhood professional, but it’s also greatly rewarding. Early childhood professionals work with young children (birth through age eight) and their families. Childcare workers are expected to attend to children's basic needs like feeding them, preparing meals, changing diapers, and supervising playtime and activities. They are also expected to assist with lesson planning, maintain a clean and safe environment and communicate with families. Since children like to test the boundaries, it's important to have patience. Having a calm demeanor is essential when being faced with challenging behavior. Patience will also help with defusing any situations that arise with conflicts either between adults or other children. I see this opportunity as a way to contribute to an excitingforward-thinkingfast-moving company industry, and I feel I can do so by with my skills. There is a somewhat noble feeling that goes along with teaching preschool education. Knowing that you are taking care of the most vulnerable people among us, helping them learn and grow into responsible people and keeping them safe is a big responsibility.

“Education is one thing no one can take away from you,” says Elin Nordegren. I am furthering my education to gift myself a true understanding of my purpose in this world for no one can understand who they truly are without the ability to outline what it is they desire. The effort that one puts in, one gets out in the world of education and learning. Over the years, taking time to read information and analyze the roots of the intentions of authors, artists, of creators, I learned a plethora of information that aids me to this day in keeping my mind focused on creating a bright future for myself. I plan on pursuing my dreams of becoming a news anchor with an associate’s and eventually a bachelor’s mass communications degree. I believe pursuing a higher education will prepare me for an intellectually mature life. So, education is my destination and college is the path. I am beginning my education by earning my associate's degree in mass communications at Holmes Community College. Then, I plan on attending Southern University and A and M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana earning my bachelor’s degree. A news anchor must deliver social and political information to communities to create either internal or interpersonal conversation. I will fulfill this duty with everything that is within me. Communicating information may seem like an easy task or something that is not essential to the world, yet nothing would be without the communication of one thing to another. God Almighty brought light into the world through the communication of his very voice to the universe. In this way, light or unity can be brought into the world through the communication of the very sympathy, love, and passions that new anchors hold toward society. I want to be that change and the passion, love, and sympathy within me is waiting to be set aflame. Considering my dreams of becoming a news anchor, I must achieve a higher education by going to college. Therefore, the finances of college become a concern, however, this scholarship will solve that problem. Receiving this scholarship will cover the expenses of becoming a news anchor, and it will help make my dreams a reality. My education shall stand with me all of my days and with the help of this scholarship, I will be able to stand just a little bit taller and get onto my feet a little bit quicker.

Education is a powerful resource in the world of opportunity and prosperity. From a young age, this was a theme constantly preached to me by my grandfather. He was the first in his family to graduate college at Jackson State University, and recollected many opportunities he’d lost and gained due to the lack or presence of education. “Don’t make the same mistakes I did, instead, make new ones,” a frequently repeated statement he would oftentimes say. Through the encouragement my grandfather provided me to further my education and work towards success, I would become more motivated to strengthen my skills and knowledge. As I further my pursuit of said knowledge, I aim to gain the experience and information required to become a Nurse Anesthetist. Similarly to my grandfather, I have taken a great notice to the impact education can have in unlocking doors one may have once believed to be impenetrable. Extending one’s world view and refusing ignorance holds great power in doing so. However, restricting one’s accessibility to any form of information can only hinder their development, ability to be independent, and opportunities. Our former United States President, George Washington, claimed in his farewell address that morality, religion, and education were vital for a republic to succeed. In his eyes, knowledgeable country equaled a strong country. Education would explain what was important, while religion and morality would explain why it was important. This viewpoint would become an important precedent set by Washington, and would be followed for centuries to come within our country. It is my goal to utilize the power in such a statement, and further my education to accomplish great things in my future. Upon graduating from college, a pursuit in the field of healthcare would resonate with me. Specifically speaking, becoming a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) is the career I wish to obtain. Nurses in this line of work deal with providing anesthesia, and any other related care to patients in a surgical environment. Such a field would allow me the opportunity to care for others on an intimate level, learn more about the human body and its needs, as well as to obtain financial stability. With time, these experiences would allow me the gift of wisdom and professionalism. Hopefully, I would be able to pass said wisdom down to future generations, allowing them access to the doors they once believed would forever be locked. Prosperity and opportunity are a few among the many advantages of furthering one’s education. As the inhabitants of the world navigate through the trials and tribulations that attempt to cloud their view, sagacity and knowledge can illuminate what was once believed to be a deep fog. Education offers comfort, wisdom, stability, understanding, and accessibility. Utilizing this would allow me to pursue my goals and succeed in my ambitions. Knowledge is key, knowledge is resourceful, and best of all, knowledge is power.
