Many young students have strong passions for creative fields but are encouraged to follow more traditional and “sensible” career paths, often leading them to give up on their dreams.

Creative students should be encouraged to hone their skills and practice their crafts so they can become the next generation of leaders and innovators in their fields. Fashion brings beauty to the world and allows people to express themselves, with innovations in the field leading to increased efficiency, utility, and sustainability.

This scholarship seeks to support young women who demonstrate a genuine passion for fashion, creativity, individuality, and an interest in building a future within the fashion industry.

Any female high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who is pursuing fashion business, fashion design, merchandising, styling, marketing, entrepreneurship, or another fashion-related field may apply for this scholarship opportunity if she demonstrates a passion for fashion, creativity, and self-expression. Applicants do not need to have prior professional fashion experience.

To apply, tell us about your passion for fashion, what future you envision within the industry, what inspired your dream, what challenges you have faced, how you hope to use your life to contribute to fashion, and how this scholarship would help you. Additionally, submit one to three images representing your creativity, personal aesthetic, or vision for your future in fashion. These may include original designs or sketches, an outfit you styled, a mood board, sewing or textile work, photography, merchandising or visual-display concepts, or another example of your creative work. Professional portfolios and professional photography are not required. We want to see your vision—not your resources.
