Raising kids is anything but easy, and the team at Organic Baby Formula is well aware of the challenges that parents of all backgrounds face every single day.
Mothers have an incredibly important job as they influence future generations, working hard to give their children the best life possible. Single mothers face a unique challenge that requires support from as many outside areas as possible since these moms don’t have a partner working alongside them.
Organic Baby Formula has partnered with Bold.org to offer a scholarship to single mothers who are currently attending a college or university or on track to graduate with proof of acceptance of a qualifying university or college.
The $2,000 Supermom Scholarship is designed to help undergraduate and graduate single mothers and those who have been directly impacted by one, on their path to obtaining a college degree. Having a college degree can open many doors for mothers and their children and we want to do everything in our power to help.
To apply, tell us about your experience as a single mother and/or as the child of a single mother.
How do your children motivate you and how has your experience as a single mom shaped you? What support has helped you the most while pursuing higher education?
If you are a child of a single mother, how has that experience impacted you and what inspires you the most about your mom?
The application deadline is Aug 31, 2022. Winners will be announced on Sep 30, 2022.
Award amounts per winner are designated by the donor. Check the award amount for a detailed breakdown.
The winner will be publicly announced on Sep 30, 2022. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
