SuperDad Scholarship
Parenting is never easy, and when you’re raising a family on your own, the challenges can feel overwhelming. Balancing family, work, and personal goals can feel impossible and can make parents feel like they’re doing too little, no matter how hard they try.
Single dads face unique obstacles, yet their strength and dedication are too often overlooked. With millions of single dads in the United States, making up nearly a quarter of all single-parent households, it’s time to change that narrative. Single Dads United exists to support fathers who shoulder the responsibilities of parenting alone. Education is a powerful tool for building a brighter future for oneself and one’s children. However, it can be hard to access the academic world as a busy single parent or as a child with limited parental guidance.
This scholarship seeks to support single dads with resources that promote their children’s success, strengthen their families, and help build legacies that last for generations.
Any high school senior, undergraduate, or vocational student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are a single dad or the child of a single dad.
To apply, write an essay responding to the questions below about being a single father or being the child of a single father. Additionally, upload a picture of you and your father or child.
