Recognizing and supporting caregivers, especially young students balancing school and family responsibilities, is one of the most meaningful ways to make a real difference in someone’s life.
Caregivers often have to make great sacrifices in their personal lives in order to be reliable, dedicated helpers to their loved ones, sacrificing social and academic opportunities in order to better care for those who need it. These individuals who are always thinking of others deserve to be uplifted so that they can live their dreams.
This scholarship seeks to support students who are not only pursuing their education but also serving as primary caregivers for a loved one with a disability.
Any high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who is caring for a parent, sibling, or family member with a disability and who demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a commitment to their own future may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
To apply, tell us about yourself and how caring for a disabled parent, sibling, or other family member has shaped you. Additionally, upload a picture of yourself with the family member you care for.
