Shelby Starlets Baton Twirling Scholarship
Higher education is growing increasingly expensive every year, placing it out of reach of many students with limited resources.
While there are many scholarship opportunities available for students based on academic merit or community involvement, athletic scholarships aren’t as common. Majorettes in particular have an extremely limited pool of scholarships and aid to choose from, making it difficult to continue pursuing their craft in college.
This scholarship aims to support students who are passionate about taking their baton twirling skills to the next level.
Any high school senior or undergraduate student in Shelby County or Jefferson County, Alabama, may apply for this scholarship if they are a baton twirler. However, those who trained at Shelby Starlets Baton studio and those who will twirl in college are preferred.
To apply, briefly tell us when you started baton twirling, where you trained, and whether you plan to twirl in college.
1. At what age did you start baton twirling?
2. Where do you/did you train?
3. Do you plan to twirl in college?
