Sheila Chau was a dedicated educator, administrator, and Christian who spent more than twenty-five years serving students and families.

Sheila believed that every student mattered, and she had a unique gift for helping others see their potential. Every day, Sheila lived out her faith in Christ and led with compassion, integrity, encouragement, and a dedication to serving those who need help the most.

This scholarship seeks to support non-traditional college students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in education.

Any Christian junior or senior undergraduate student may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are pursuing elementary education or a related education field and if they are a non-traditional college student who is at least twenty-five years old. However, preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need, perseverance, and a commitment to serving and inspiring future generations through education.

To apply, tell us about a time when someone believed in you or helped you see your potential, how that experience impacted you, and how you plan to impact the lives of your future students. Additionally, upload a current resume highlighting educational, professional, volunteer, church, and community involvement experiences as well as documentation demonstrating financial need (such as a financial aid award letter, FAFSA Student Aid Index, or other relevant supporting documentation).
