Many immigrant parents work with passion and determination to send their children to college in America, often requiring significant sacrifice.

With college costs rising, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for first-generation students and their families to afford the costs of college. The growing inaccessibility of a college degree threatens to stall the dreams of many prospective students, affecting the livelihoods of their families as well.

This scholarship aims to support students who are the first in their families to complete a college degree in the U.S. so they can create a better future for their families.

Any high school junior, senior, or undergraduate student of Indian descent who has at least a 3.5 GPA and will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship.

To apply, tell us about yourself, defining moments in your life, and how your immigrant background has affected your academic endeavors.
