The responsibility for shaping the future of mental healthcare lies with our emerging professionals.

Mental health is a crucial field that is only growing in importance as rates of depression and suicide rise. Addressing the mental health crisis and saving lives requires uplifting the talented and passionate students of today who have big goals for their careers but lack the resources they need to afford their education.

This scholarship seeks to support aspiring mental health professionals who are passionate about pursuing higher education so they can change lives.

Any undergraduate or graduate student in the state of Washington, who has lived experience navigating mental health struggles and is pursuing a career in clinical counseling, social work, marriage and family counseling, or psychology may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, first-generation students, BIPOC applicants, and those who are looking to serve in rural areas are preferred.

To apply, submit a short essay or video telling us how your mental health experience has affected your goals, who you plan to serve, and why.
