It provides the stability and income necessary to launch other ventures—whether that is investing in real estate, starting a business, or building a legacy for one's family. It’s crucial for this window of opportunity to be available to all students to seek it. Students who are traditionally underrepresented in the financial and investment space may struggle to pay for college, closing them off to careers that could launch their financial independence.
This scholarship aims to support ambitious nursing students who view the profession as more than just a healthcare role, but as a platform for lifelong impact and financial independence.
Any undergraduate student pursuing nursing may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they demonstrate a high level of dedication to the nursing craft and if they have an interest in financial literacy. Applicants should plan to use their nursing income to invest in their future and in their community, understanding the importance of leveraging a stable career to achieve broader lifestyle and financial goals.

The winner will be publicly announced on Aug 12, 2026. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
