Miguel Bisono – State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship
The scholarship is sponsored by Miguel Bisono, an independent State Farm agent, as part of an ongoing commitment to supporting local students and strengthening the Nashua, New Hampshire community.
In today’s society, it’s crucial to encourage students to be “Good Neighbors” and to demonstrate integrity, perseverance, work ethic, and a desire to make a positive impact on the world. Too often, effort and character go unrecognized, with academic performance being the sole factor considered in many scholarship competitions.
This scholarship seeks to support graduating seniors who show leadership, responsibility, and a strong commitment to giving back to their community.
Any high school senior at Nashua High School North or Nashua High School South in New Hampshire who demonstrates strong character, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in their community may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Applicants may be planning to attend a university, community college, trade or technical school, or an accredited certificate program. The ideal applicant must strive to be a “Good Neighbor” by helping others, contributing to their school or local community, and taking ownership of their goals—whether through employment, volunteer work, family responsibilities, athletics, or leadership roles. Students with financial need or non-traditional educational paths are encouraged to apply, as are those planning careers in skilled trades, healthcare, business, technology, or other in-demand fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

The winner will be publicly announced on Jun 13, 2026. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
