Major La-Goge W. Graham had committed his life to serving others through his military, ministry and teaching career. He was well-loved and respected by his students and always found a way to give back to his community.

Major “Go” Graham devoted years of his life organizing parades, planning “Weekend in the Woods” with his cadets, food banks for veterans, and students, serving his community through the agape love of Christ, while he and his wife fostered many children in need of a safe home. But his true passion was teaching his students about the privilege of being able to serve others.

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, he passed away on January 5th, 2021. His legacy and mission to serve the community can continue by inspiring future generations to give back to their community through this scholarship.

This scholarship seeks to honor Major La-Goge W. Graham and support graduating JROTC cadets or undergraduates in ROTC programs in the United States.

Any high school junior or senior in JROTC or ROTC may apply for this scholarship.

As a student in the armed forces, I plan to make a positive impact on the world through my dedication to serving my country and promoting peace and security in my country. I believe that my career in the military will provide me with a special opportunity to make a great contribution to society by using the skill that I have to make society better. But I do believe there are also many ways I could make a positive impact on the world. One way I plan to make a positive impact on the world is by having good leadership skills around the people you are with because when it comes to challenges if you don't have that leadership skill around the people you are working/do everything with how will you be able to accomplish those challenges. In another way, I plan to make a positive impact on the world by having humanitarian aid, providing aid such as shelter, food, water, and medical care for certain circumstances like a natural disasters to people in need. making a positive impact on the world I plan to make peacemaking that provides other countries to collaborate, understand, discuss maintain stability in society and promote peace in the world. In addition to making a positive impact on the world, I plan to work even harder to make society better and safer where people feel safe and have peace where they are, that will be a great positive impact because not only they will see my hardworking for the world but they will want to work for their society too, and by having more people to work with me It will be better especially when it comes to the weapons, I will need someone to help by making more weapons for self-defense to protect myself and the society. I can make a positive impact on the world by protecting human rights and ensuring that people in society have their freedom and also freedom from the fear the people have about their society it is my job to make sure the people feel safe, not fear and have them acknowledge that if anything happing they will get the help they need, the world will have a positive impact and I will make sure the people in the society have the security they need, the safeness, the peace they feel in the society, and not having no hope in the society, I student in the armed forces I will never let my people losing hope because of not feeling safe because they will feel safe and protected in the society and that how I plan to make a positive impact on the world through my career in the armed forces.
