Mary Jane Chavez Memorial Scholarship
Mary Jane Chavez was a beloved mother who recently passed away after leading an incredible and inspirational life.
As a young mother and wife Mary Jane chose to drop out of high school at seventeen to focus on her family. Thirty years later, after raising two sons and becoming a grandmother, she fulfilled her desire to finish her education by earning her GED. Faith, family, and education were very important to her and she encouraged and strived to help the next generation in achieving their goals.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Mary Jane Chavez by supporting students who are committed to earning their college degrees.
