Loren Joseph Myers was a beloved spouse who had a beautiful marriage of forty-six years and led a full life.

Loren had many passions and areas of expertise, spanning fields such as interior decorating, landscaping, gardening, and beyond. Young men who share these interests are often met with discouragement by society, as men often face stigmatization when pursuing artistic fields.

This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Loren Joseph Myers by uplifting the next generation of young gay men as they pursue their dreams.

Any gay or bisexual male high school senior or undergraduate or trade school freshman may apply for this scholarship opportunity if he is an American citizen between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, has at least a 3.0 GPA and if he is pursuing studies in interior decorating, landscaping or gardening.

To apply, write a short essay telling us what you plan to study, why, and how this scholarship would help you.
