Kristinspiration Scholarship
Many first-generation college students grow up in households that stress the importance of education, but simultaneously can’t afford to help shoulder the cost.
Students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education often carry the hopes and dreams of many family members with them, which can lead to significant pressure. At the same time, thriving in college can be particularly difficult for students with no family background in academia due to having limited mentorship and advice from parents.
This scholarship aims to support students who are following their dreams and pursuing college in order to pave the way for future generations of their family.
Any female high school senior or undergraduate student who is or will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
