Dr. Josh Gibson, a San Francisco-based executive coach and former psychiatrist, has spent his career helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential. With a diverse background spanning medicine, management consulting, and creative writing, Dr. Gibson understands that true leadership requires a unique blend of skills—intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, and the resilience to navigate complex challenges.

Since 2021, the Josh Gibson MD Scholarship has been awarding funds to deserving students who demonstrate these qualities. Whether you are studying business, the arts, engineering, or the sciences, this scholarship is for those who are driven to excel and lead with integrity.

Dr. Gibson believes that the most effective leaders are those who are not only experts in their fields but also deeply self-aware and capable of connecting with others. The Josh Gibson MD Scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden of education for students who embody this holistic approach to success, allowing them to focus on their studies and their personal development.

This scholarship seeks to honor Dr. Josh Gibson’s legacy by supporting the next generation of transformative leaders across all fields of study.

Any undergraduate or graduate student who has at least a 2.5 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Students’ profiles should reflect the values of Dr. Josh Gibson: leadership, continuous learning, and a commitment to making a difference.

This is a no-essay scholarship. To apply, simply create your Bold.org profile and click "Apply".
