Jean-Paul Henry was a beloved young man who showed up fully for everything that mattered in his life.
Jean-Paul was just twenty-two when he passed away. Though his life was cut short, it was full of passion and love. Jean-Paul worked in the marine industry with dedication and purpose, and he was, above all else, a devoted father. In a world that often asks young people to choose between their ambitions and their responsibilities, Jean-Paul chose both. He carried his commitment to his work and family with equal pride.
This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Jean-Paul Henry by supporting young men who are walking a similar path in building a future in the marine and maritime field while raising the next generation.
Any current or expecting father may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are at least a high school senior and are currently employed, enrolled, or actively pursuing training in the marine or maritime industry. However, applicants who are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five years old are preferred.
