While colleges have become increasingly diverse in recent years, many students of color still feel isolated when pursuing higher education.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities are unique in their abilities to support African American students throughout their degrees so they can afford and complete their education. As a result, despite making up only a small minority of colleges in the U.S., HBCUs produce 22% of Black graduates and are linked with greater financial security after graduation.

This scholarship aims to support African American students throughout their educational journeys at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Any African American undergraduate student who is attending an HBCU and has at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship.
