Gregory Flowers Memorial Scholarship
Gregory Flowers was a beloved father, mentor, and community leader who passed away in the fall of 2024. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of service, compassion, and dedication to youth.
For over twenty years, Gregory was a passionate karate instructor who devoted his time to teaching and mentoring young people. One of his greatest joys was witnessing the long-term growth and success of his students. He deeply understood the transformative power of education and how essential financial aid can be.
In light of recent rollbacks in DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs, this scholarship was established by Gregory's family to honor his commitment to equity and opportunity. It aims to support BIPOC high school seniors who are pursuing a 4-yr college degree and have demonstrated a commitment to service through nonprofit work or volunteering.
