Glenda I. Tanner Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Glenda I. Tanner, who believed that everyone should have the chance to attend college.
Glenda was a lifelong learner with empathy for those who sought the same path. She was a voracious reader and often read multiple books at once. She also loved museums and any place where knowledge could be gained. Glenda took tremendous pride in her children's and grandchildren’s success in education and life, and always encouraged them to go to college and find their path in the world. She encouraged curiosity across all subjects and simply wanted people to have fun discovering new things.
This scholarship seeks to make college more affordable and accessible for aspiring students so they can fulfill their dreams in the fields they’re passionate about.
Any high school senior in Washington may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have at least a 3.0 GPA and if they will attend Central Washington University.
