Fuerza Union For the 831 Footy Scholarship
Soccer is the world's game, but is often overlooked and underprioritized in the United States, leaving many without the resources they need to get involved and excel.
Often, only those children with families who can afford travel, equipment, and more get to play the sport at higher levels. When it comes time for college recruiting, this financial inaccessibility can create an opportunity gap between wealthy and middle or low-income students, cutting promising careers short.
This scholarship aims to nurture the next generation of soccer players by uplifting student-athletes who are pursuing higher education while also following their dreams on the pitch.
Any underrepresented minority high school senior in the 831 area code of California may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they play soccer and will continue to play in college.
