First Generation Scholarship For Underprivileged Students
Pursuing a college degree is often difficult, even for students with family help and a background in the academic world.
For first-generation college students, who can’t seek advice from their parents and likely don’t have family assistance when paying tuition, it can be even more difficult to pursue college. From the financial burdens of college applications and tuition to the many unspoken rules of submitting a competitive application to navigating the intense environment of college, it can be hard for students to succeed without help or mentorship.
This scholarship aims to support students who are the first in their families to go to college and earn their degrees.
Any African American or Latinx four-year undergraduate student who is a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
