Fakhri Born into a Palestinian refugee family, Fakhri embodied resilience, hope, and the pursuit of opportunity. When he came to the United States, he transformed his deep curiosity about the world into a dedicated journey of personal and professional growth. With an unflagging work ethic and boundless kindness, Fakhri not only achieved his own dreams but inspired those around him to strive for personal excellence.

The Fakhri Ali Abukhater Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of a beloved brother and uncle by supporting students of Palestinian descent who embody his core values: curiosity, determination, and the courage to pursue education against challenging odds.

Like Fakhri, many immigrants and refugees arrive in the United States with dreams of accessing opportunities unavailable in their home countries. These journeys are marked by courage, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to personal and academic growth.

Scholarship Purpose We seek to continue Fakhri's legacy by providing financial support to Palestinian students pursuing higher education in the United States. This scholarship aims to help the next generation overcome barriers and transform their academic aspirations into reality.
