Drs. Julieto and Marlyn Eltanal Scholarship
Beloved parents, Drs. Julieto and Marlyn Eltanal, instilled the importance of education in their children. As immigrants from the Philippines, they met at Cornell University's anesthesiology residency program. They worked tirelessly to live the American dream, putting their children through undergraduate and graduate school.
Many students from underprivileged backgrounds struggle to afford higher education, leaving them cut off from the careers of their dreams due to financial inaccessibility. This scholarship aims to honor Julieto and Marlyn Eltanal by supporting the next generation of doctors.
Any Chinese or Filipino student, from a low-income background, attending medical school at Cornell University may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
